The Davis: A Quaker Family, pg. 930, gives a different wife, Jemima Jones, not Jemima Hanes.MILLS FAMILY HISTORY by Paul Mills. Thomas Sr. and his wife, Elizabeth were both active in the Friends Church.
Died of consumption on the Pengbranch
Jemima Jones married 1) Thomas Mills, 2) Strangeman Stanely. The Mills
line is also a line of Opal Lousin. Look for book of Hutchins Family including Stanleys, see national Gen. Soc. library, by Rita Townsend? Corresponded with Opal.
Davis: A Quaker Family by Eleanor Davis, pg. 930, has Jemimah married
secondly to Strangeman Stanley.
This line is connected to my Anderson line which follows this lineage back further. Jemimah Jones is the dau. of Richard Jones and Jemimah Huff.
Grandma Teeter - Hiatt claims Elizabeth had her son Clinton by a man she was working for and gave him his surname. Other indications are that Stull was her maiden name.

Charles Clinton, nephew, living with Jacob Stull age 15, born in Ill. Father was born in Ill. Mother in Penn.I believe that Clinton Charles was actually Charles Clinton, the nephew who was living with his uncle Jacob in 1880 census. He appears then to have taken the name of Stull, so changed his name to Clinton Charles Stull.
Aug. 24, 1992 I received a package of material from Morrill, Kansas City offices which provided, in part, an obituary on Clint Stull.
