Agusta Fricke the daughter of Carl David and Caroline HemerlingFricke was born in Limritz, Brandenburg Prussia Nov 22, 1848. At theage of 12 she moved with her parents to Posen.

Friedrick Hoffmann served in the Prusse-Austrian war in 1866 andin the Franco-German war in 1870 and 1871. Fearing more wars, he lefthis family and came to Sibley, Ill where he worked as a baker on theSibley estates. After a few months he was joined by his wife andchildren.
Augusta Hoffmann died Aug 2 1909.
Friedrick Hoffmann died Sep 13, 1928.
They are buried in the Lutheran Cemetary at Anchor Ill
