Samantha Lazenby, daughter of John C. Lazenby, was born near Martinsville, Ohio 2-28-1845. Married Dr. Thomas W. Roberts 7-5-1877. Dr. Thomas W. Roberts had a fine country residence near Carthage, Mo. Their children were John R., Tillie, Ida, Clem, Martha, and George, (Martha and George born on February 22nd) and John R. Roberts, son of Dr. Thomas Roberts, married Lore May Hiatt, daughter of Clarkson and Jane Hiatt of Martinsville Ohio. The children were Bessie May and Charles. Bessie May married and is now living in the State of Maine. Charles Robert, son of John R. Roberts married a Mrs. Renter in Colorado Charles Robert died in Colorado, leaving no children.
