His will was dated 30 July 1818, proved 1825. He was buried in the Springfield FBG, Guilford Co., NC, located south of High Point, NC. He married about 1763 , Rowan, now Guiford Co., NC. and was disowned 30 Jun 1764, New Garden MM Rowan, now Guilford Co., NC. (mou)
Micajah was a miller on Abbott's Creek and a farmer. In 1763 they moved from VA, to NC, and setteld on the South Fork of Rich Creek, a branch of Abbott's Creek, three and one half miles from the present High Point, Guilford Co., NC. On 8 Aug 1778 they were charter members of Deep River MM, Guilford Co., NC and on 15 Mar 1790 they were charter members of Springfield MM, Guilford Co., NC. In 1791 he owned 540 acres of land.
Daughter of John McCurry. She died at the age of 86.
