Thomas Henry Tiller came to Missouri about 1838 from Warren COunty, Ky.
He would become a very successful man. He left home at age 15 for California, struck gold, and did well. Came back to Missouri 8 years later and bought up several hundreds of acres of land, in three different counties. He served in the Missouri Volunteer Calvary Division E. Later on Thomas became president at Farmers Merchants Bank in Jasper, Mo.
