Nathan Newby the son of William Newby of Nanzemund Co., & Elizabeth Hollowell ye daughter of Alice Hollowell of Elizabeth River did publish their marriage at a meeting ofmen and women frends at Daniel Anburns howse on the thirteenth day of ye Eaight month of this date and coming before the meeting the second time at William Cookes in Isleasweight Co They did publish there Marriage againe on the tenth day of the ninth after and were married in ehr Mothers house on the thirteenth day of the tenth month in the year 1687.
