Lloyd Chestly MILLIKAN

Lloyd and Tressa, are both buried in Carmel Cemetery, Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana. Lloyd stayed single for six years after Tressa died. Lloyd and Tressa and there best friends, Dewey and Mary  went  fishing every weekend. Then a few years later Lloyd's wife passed on, and Mary's husband passed on they decided to get married , one year after they got married, it was discovered that Mary had cancer which had already metastasized throughout her body. Mary died November 10 1976 in the emergency room of the Hendricks County Hospital in Danville, Indiana. She was buried next to her first husband Dewey Weaver, in Union Chapel Cemetery, Indianapolis Indiana. A widower the second time and two years later he met his match  Mary E. Sherrick and they were married April 14, 1978, Lloyd then passed on, November 21 1986.


Mary E. SHERRICK

Mary E. Sherrick's, first husband was Carl Faucett and he died before there fourth child was born, Mary then married the second time to a man who did not want to help her raise her children, so that did not last long. She then met Lamar Whicker who was a very nice man and helped Mary raise her children, and he died in 1975. Mary then met Lloyd Millikan and in 1978 they got married until Lloyd passed on in 1986.    Mary again was alone and then met Gene Barker and married him in 1987 and he passed on in 1989. So Mary then met Paul Hurlock while they were both volunteering at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville, Indiana, they were married in 1991. Paul was very good to Mary and they seem to get along very well together. They went to Florida every winter, and Mary became ill in November 1991 and she just kept going downhill untll she passed away in Naples, Florida. Mary E. Sherrick was a person who did not like to live alone.

George and Hannah, in 1836 moved to Hendricks County, Indiana, and then on to Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa, where they established a permament home in 1851.

Oct. 14, Yesterday, JG Hiatt received word of the death of Mrs. Hiatt's sister, Mrs. Elias Norris, age 77, at Salinas, CA.
