Charlotte CAREY

Charlotte's dau. Ruth names a child Lemuel Carey Venable, In Poplar Ridge MM. in Ind.       there is a Lemuel Carey Sr. b 4-13-1822 son of Jonathan and Ruth, so its possable that     Charlotte's parents Were this Jonathon and Ruth. Also a Samuel born 13 June 1804, and      Sarah born 9-29-1808 also had a son called Lemuel Carey Jr. As listed in Mt. Pleasant MM, Grayson Co, VA.  Jonathan and Ruth had the following children and are most likely to    be the correct age to be the parents as their daughter Charlotte realy seems to be the correct age to be the mother of Eli and Charlotte(Carey) Phelps.  Such is the reasoning to show these are the parents of Charlotte. Notice that Charlotte (Carey) Phelps Names her first son Jonathan C. Phelps
