Solomon STANBROUGH

[]    Was second child of Nehemiah and Mary Minthorn-2nd wife-.  Thefamily moved to VA, pos. Frederick County before 1788, then to GreeneCounty TN. Moved to Wilmington about 1812, Clinton Co OH. Around 1802left 150 acres on waters of little sinking creek- general movement ofQuakers to go where no slaves were kept. Solomon built the first jailin Clinton Co in 1810 for $600. Solomon buried Center MH graveyard NWof Wilmington.  Tabitha moved with children and grandchildren toWestfield, Hamilton County In about 1834. In 1850 census she is nextto grandsons John & James. She is 81 years old living with daughter inlaw Elizabeth, wife of son Evan. Tabitha believe to have died about1850. Thought to be buried in Martha Doan Memorial Cemt.   VirginiaMilitary Tract 140 acres to Solomon 1/19/1805.
