My 2x great aunt married a Newby, his name was Nathaniel Newby.  Her name was Sarah Caroline Talbert, d/o Milo Talbert and Mary D. James.  Mrs. Cecil Newby is mentioned in the newspaper account of my Great grandmother (Lucile Nelson) marriage to Leonard B. Coffey.  I am sure Cecil was a cousin of my grandmother.
Supporting evidence.  Witchita newspaper clipping found in my aunt Mildred's albums that she inherited from my grandmother. (I have a scanned copy).
A reciept Nathaniel Newby from donating money to a chruch found in Our Family Bible transcribed by my Aunt Roberta.
Sarah Caroline Talbert Newby was referred to as "Newby" by my family.  I have many scanned photos of her.  Sarah was born 1849.  Her mother (Mary d Jame)  Sister, (Ann Elizabeth) and her grandmother, Miriam (Mary) Gardner Talbert, all died from Cholera in July 1849.  Sarah was raised by her father, Milo Talbert until he remarried in 1854 to Eliza Paddock.
