Little Mary died after 1 day of life.
Little Joseph was born about 6 months after his father's death. He only lived for 3 weeks.
Mary, Joseph's widow, went to live with her brother-in-law, Felix, after young Joseph was born, taking Lillian & James with her. Later, after the baby's death, Felix married her.Joseph was born at 11:45 A.M., on 24 May 1919 at Sidney, Richland, Mt. He died at 9:30 A.M., on 20 June 1919, in the same town.
Felix was one of Dad's favorite uncles. He herded sheep for him near Republic and Kettle Falls, Washington. Uncle Felix taught us kids how to "shoot" cherry pits, which wasn't amusing to our Mother. He showed us how to float paper plates down the Applegate River, too. He was in trouble, again. We all got scolded!
Uncle Jack died at the age of 70.
