John PIKE

John was a blacksmith and did some work Cornwallis.


Abigail OVERMAN

John & Abigail had nine children.  They moved Frederick County, Virginia, where six of their children were born  and about 1746 they moved to Orange County NC., where their youngest child Nathan was born. The Pike family became members of the Cane Creek Meeting. Abigail was Quaker minister.  Abigail died while visting the Muddy Creek Meeting and she is buried in Muddy Creek, in an unmarked grave. Muddy Creek was located near Kernersville, North Carolina which is just North East of  Winston-Salem
