Mercilla.) Russel McCormmach (early spelling of last name) is
one of the well-to-do farmers of Webster County, Mo. and was
born in Jackson Co, Tenn on the 9th of Sept 1830. His father,
Johnson McCormmach, was born in Virginia on the 6th of
July, 1806, and when a young man went to Tennessee with his
parents, where he was married to Miss Mercilla Brown, of that

P 24 Lucinda Flatt filed for divorce. Case heard on 3/18/1852.
Case dismissed by Chancellor Bromfield L. Ridley.
P 30 3/19/1852 Lucinda appeals to Supreme Court in Nashville.
P 75 July 14, 1853 Pleasnat Flatt vs Johnson McCormack. Lucinda
Flatt has died. Case continued in name of McCormack.
P 112 February 9, 1854 Pleasant Flatt vs Johnson McCormack and
Lucinda Flatt. Dismissed and each party pay his half the cost.
P 142 February 11, 1854 Lucinda Flatt vs Pleasant Flatt. Divorce
bill filed by Lucinda Flatt.. dismissed and denied.. Lucinda
appealed to Supreme Court but died before that Court heard
case. James Draper and Johnson McCormack are involved. Jackson
C. Apple is sheriff of Jackson County.
