 "...My grandfather was born in Cord in Independence county Arkansas. He died
when my mom was about 7 years old. He was working for an oil refinery when a
steam boiler exploded and killed him.  That was in Pampa, Texas. He is buried at
the Fairlawn cemetery in Cushing, OK. My Grandmother then moved in with her
parents in Nortonville, KS. with her three children. She lives in a retirement
home there. Her mother passed away in 1989. I remember when I was about 9 or 10
An Old man at my Grandmother's house, that was some kind of relative was there.
Thinking back I believe it was Ewell's father, Joseph...."
