Clifford G. HIATT

Clifford G. Hiatt, 93, Noblesville, formerly of NBakers Corner, died Monday night, April 27, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
   He was born Aug. 10, 1898 in Noblesville, the son of Calvin and Fannie (Spidel) Hiatt.
   He was first married to Lucille Teter in 1923.  She died in 1934.  He was married in 1934 to Ruby P. Harbaugh, who died in 1977.
   Surviving are four sons, John P. Hiatt of Sheridan, Jerry Hiatt of Lapel, Russell Hiatt of Lyons, Colo., and Merrill Hiatt of Hanover; three daughters, Sara Malan of Carmel, Mary Hiatt of Colfax and Susan Niehauf of Danville; 16 grandchildren; one brother, Calvin Hiatt, Jr. of Cicero; and three sisters, Carolyn Wiles of Indianapolis, Maxine Wiseman of Owensboro, Ky.  and Mabel Boyer of Lafayette.
    One daughter, two grandsons and four brothers preceded him in death.
    He retired in 1971 from Biddles Precision & Components of Sheridan after 27 years of employment.  He was a member of Sheridan Friends Church and attended Bakers Corner Wesleyan Church.
    Services were April 30 at Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan, with the Rev. Dr. Max Kingsolver officiating.
    Burial was in Crown View Cemetery, Sheridan.
