Trussell:
Theophilus FALLS was a commissioned officer to Alabam during the Creek &
Indian War. He died in a room in Jim HOUSTON's house near Davidson College. He
left a larg estate to his brother and the three SIMONTON heirs..."
[From the will:] His heirs were his brother John FALLS "now in Mississippi",
and his son Williams FALLS and John FALLS' other children, not named; the
neirs of his brother Edwin FALLS; the children of Absalom K. SIMONTON: Robert
F. SIMONTON, Mary Jane SIMONTON, Absalom K. SIMONT, William D. SIMONTON, "now
in Alabama"; the children of his sister, Isabella MCRORIE: William Thomas
MCRORIE adn Isabella MCRORIE; Theophilus DAVIDSON, son of William L. DAVISON.
Theophilus also made bequests to his brother-in-law in Alabama, George L.
DAVIDSON, and tho his brother-in-law William Lee DAVIDSON, and to the Iredell
County Wardens of the Poor, and to the elders of the Fourth Creek Church. The
executors, newphew Robert F. SIMONTON and friend Wiliam MORRISON were to haved
three years to settle the estate..."
