23 April 1861. Executors named: His father and Dr. Thomas BOON. Names sisters;
Rebecca, Eliza, Mary, and brother Andrew. Mentions Aunt Mrs. R. ANDERSON, his
mother's estate in hands of Moses HUBBARD of Eutaw AL. Mr. Joseph PICKENS,
also of Eutaw, AL, and the late Judge PICKENS of Jasper Co., Miss. Mrs. Mary
BOONE PICKENS stated she wrote the will in her own hand at dictation of
Ezediel in his last illness, on apr. 23, 1861. Andrew C. PICKENS stated he
entered the room and witnessed the will."

Sam:
 "... Uncle Israel WALKUP's family are all married or dead: 3 sons viz:
David, Samuel, & James are living & doing tolerably well.  Davy is very sick
at this time & his family have been a great deal sick for the last two years.
He has six children living and four dead.  Samuel lost his 2nd wife last week,
he has five children.  James has no children.  There are four daughters of
Uncle Israel's family all married, viz: Margaret, Elizabeth, Nancy & Eliza;
they are doing tolerably well.
 Your nephew affectionaly, Saml H. WALKUP"
