I am looking for information on Samuel Boyd Patton b. 1784 in SC
and d. 1869 in Kendall Co., TX. He was orphaned and we have been
looking for his parents. He may have been the son of an Isaac
Patton who was in the Rev War and died leaving his wife and six
sons. They were in Lincoln Co., KY and she moved to Madison Co.,
KY with her brother-in-law Jacob.
Samuel Boyd Patton md Sarah D. Stephenson in 1809 in Davidson Co.
TN and when the county split, they were in Williamson Co., TN.
They moved about 1816 to Alabama where he became a State Legislature for the
County of Walker. My Pickens Patton was born at Jonesboro, AL a place that
doesn't exist anymore.
Samuel Boyd Patton had 17 children. We only know 10 of them.
Any information about this family will be greatly appreciated.
