Samuel Walkup married Elizabeth Guthre 1 Feb 1780. She was born 2 Dec 1761 and
died 19 Aug 1797 (ref. bible) and buried at the Cem. on Russel Coy Farm, about
four miles south of Richmond, KY. Someone wrote at one time and said they
thought her parents were Willima Guthrie & Elizabeth Barnett but never sent a
reference.
Samuel (of James & Margaret)& Elizabeth had the following children: Margaret,
James, William Guthree, Robert Alexander, Samuel & a child (ie stone that reads
"Elizabeth Walkup & Babe who departed this life 19 Aug 1797"
Samuel (of James & Margaret) then married Nancy Patterson and had the
following children: Thomas, Elilzabeth Guthree (I thought this was odd - the
middle name but ...), Sarah (aka Sally), Mary, John, James Patterson and Nancy.
The James (of Samuel of James)b. 2 July 1784 married Mary Huey & he died 28 Sept
1807 Madison Co., KY. James Patterson (of Samuel of James) was born 20 April
1814 and married Sarah Smith 4 June 1835 Madison Co., KY.
