Gardens - Maury Co., Tennessee a few miles west of Colombia.
1870, 5 Oct rec'd as communicant, Bear Creek CP church, Marshall Co TN
(MCHQ I.3 pg 62) If this is correct, she was not yet md, or date is
incorrect.

Mary Elizabeth Kirkland and husband John Richard Perry moved from TN to the
Blooming Grove, TX. area. (Their son/my grandfather was born here)
Mary Elizabeth Kirkland b 13 July 1857, d 7 June, 1935 in TX; and her husband
John Richard Perry b 27 March 1850 in TN, d 28 Sept. 1927 in TX.; are both
buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blooming Grove, Navarro Co., TX. (I visited their
gravesite last month) (I have information on their children if anyone needs it)
