Frank Fish died from cancer of the liver according to information received
from Mrs Ruth (Sawyer) Fish, his step-mother. CGT/ Following is his OB:
"Frank A Fish, 70, of Fairfield CA died July 22 (1994) at the North Bay
Medical Center in Fairfield after a brief illness. At his request, no
services were held. Frank Fish was born July 12, 1924 and had resided in
Fairfield for 28 years. He joined the US Air Force at the age of 18 to
become a fighter pilot during World War II. He flew P-47s, P-51s, F-86s,
F-100s, B-47s and C-141s. While stationed at Travis AFB he was squadron
commander of the 42 MAS and 602 MOS. He retired as a lieutenant colonel in
1974. After retirement he enjoyed flying RC model gliders with friends
throughout Northern CA. Survivors include his wife, Norma of Fairfield;
his stepmother, Ruth of Jackson MN; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and
Colleen Fish of Grandbury TX; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Lori
Fish of San Jose CA; a daughter, Nancy Fish of Napa CA; a daughter and
son-in-law Terry and Dan Broadwater of Vacaville CA; and five
grandchildren. The Bryan-Braker Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements." CGT/
