Circa 1790 lived in Early Bedford or Somerset county, Pa. John's Bible contained his son Abrshsm's children's vital records, but not his own or Susannah's. The Bible was last known in the possession of Chris Rudy of Tro, Ohio.  What is known of John and Susannah is pieced from John's handwritten will dated May 2, 1790- declared real and true by the witnessess, Conrad Brombeck and Daniel Powles on March 26, 1791. The will was translated from PA dutch Script and includes these statements.

Then my whole estate shall be appraised all and singular.   My debts shall be paid out of my estate, then my beloved wife Susannah shall have one third, my eldest son John, shall have ten pounds of gold or silver money .
The rest of my estate is to be shared in nine equal shares.
