James Alan LARSEN

James Larsen died of a self inflicted gunshot at his home in rural Clear
Lake.  It was apparently the result of severe depression brought about by
the earlier death of his youngest brother, Paul, in 1990. Following OB
carried in the local paper: "Jim A. Larsen, 45, of rural Clear Lake, died
Thursday (Dec. 9, 1993) at home.  Private services will be held at a later
date.  He was cremated, and inurnment will take place in the spring in
Clear Lake Cemetery.  The family suggests memorials to the ST. Patrick's
Catholic Church Music Fund.  Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Cchapel, Clear Lake,
in in charge of services.  He was born Feb. 14, 1948 in Mason City, the
son oc Carl E. and Ann (Jindrich) Larsen.  He graduated from Clear Lake
High School in 1966.  He graduated from North Iowa Community College,
Mason City and the University of Houston, Houston, Texas with a degree in
pharmacy.  He was a member of RHO Chi Society (Pharaceutical Honor
Society) and Phi Cappa Phi (Honor Society member).  He worked in a pharacy
in Housoton, Texas.  He worked in East Glacier Park in Montana for many
summers.  He moved back to Clear Lake where he worked part time for

Paul Steven LARSEN

Paul Larsen died in Chicago hospital of a strangulated hernia not treated
in time to prevent fatal results.  An operation was performed, but was not
