April 1969 received posthumous award of the Silver Star and Distinguished
Flying Cross while a 1st LT serving as aircraft commander of an OH-6 helicopter
with US Army Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 2nd Brigade (Airmobile) of the
1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile)
