  James Bellarts say's Jonathan Harrold moved from Carolina in the year 1754.

   Sent by Clifford Hardin.  Catherine and Jonathan moved to North Carolina with other members of their family to the Deep River area about 1751.  By 1700 they were living in that part of Surry County that later became Stokes.
    Catherine and Jonathan are from Harroldsville, Rowan Co., N.C.

Mtg., (See No. (11.)  ).; the Harrolds has settled in that section of Rowan Co., NC., which became Surry Co., in 1770 and Stokes Co., in 1789; Jonathan Harrel is given on the 1772 Tax List for Surry Co.,NC.; Catherine is named, 1764, in her father's will as Catherine Harrel; Deep River Mo.
