John Randall HIATT

                       Obituary:
  John Randall Hiatt, 77, of Payson died Monday, Feb 1, 1988 at his hoe in
Payson.
   He was born Sept 14, 1910 in Salem to Franklin Sylvester and Adella Ellison Hiatt.  He married Helen M. Browne Oct 9, 1929 in the Salt Lake  Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
   He was educated in Payson schools.  He was a farmer and cattleman most of
his life and was a truck driver for Utah Co.
   He was an active member of Payson 21st Ward and was a High priest.
   Survivors include his wife of Payson; five daughter: Mrs. Richard
(Shirlene) Howard and Mrs. Olin (Vickie) Yearby, both Salt Lake; Mrs. Reed
(Gloria) Thatcher, Sandy; Mrs. Shirl (Sharon) Briggs, West Jordan, and Mrs.
Flint (Debbie) Evans, Payson; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and six sisters; Delphin S. Hiatt, Twin Falls, Idaho; Ferron E. Hiatt, Afton H. DeWitt and Mrs. Laurence (Betty) Mower, all Payson; Mrs. Clair (Blanche) Hull, serving a LDS mission in Alaska; Mrs. Ray (Madge) Ransbottom, Preston, Idaho; Mrs. Orin (Adella) Peterson, Brigham City, and Mrs. Sterling (June) Davis, Goshen.
 Funeral will be Friday 11 a.m. Payson West Stake Center, 730 W. 500 S.
Friends may call at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Thursday,
6-7:30 p.m. and at the Stake Center Friday one hour prior to service.
  Burial in Payson City Cem.
