(1) In the year 1802 Issac Mayse and his family moved to Kanawha County
Virginia, near the Ohio River.  In 1804 the area became Mason County, Virginia.
He was one of the first pioneers.  Isaac owned a large tract of land around
Ashton, Virginia.
