James NANFAN

(1) James Nanfan: Coat of Arms:  Sable, a chevron, ermine, between three wings
displayed, argent.


John TREJAGO (Sir)

(1) Coat of Arms: Argent on a chevron, sable, between three balls, gules, five
bezants.  They aftewards bore, Or, a chevron, between three cross crosslets
sable.

(2) The Trejago family of Trejago in Crantock became extinct in the reign of
Edward IV.  The Trejagos of Fentongollan, seated there as early as Edward II
(1308-27); were, according to Lysons, probably the same family.  Gentongallan
passed to the Trenowths by the marriage of Jane Trejago to John Trenowth,
ancestor of the Goodes of Whitley.  Fentongallon is now the property of the
Boscawens, as a part of Lord Falmouth's estate "Tregothnan."


William CHENDUT

(1) Coat of arms: Gules, four lozenges, conformed in fesse, each charged with
an escallop shell.
