(1) Henderson Cozart was killed at the siege of the Alamo, in San Antonio Texas
in 1836, during the wars between Texas and Mexico. A broze plaque is set in
the wall of the Mission which commemorates the event by recording the names of
Davy Crockett and the other heros of the Alamo, Henderson Cozart's name is
included.
