(1) Isaac Raeburn Ferrell preceded his father in moving to Hewett in Boone
County West Virginia, where he settled at the mouth of Pig Tail Hollow. He had
eight children by his first wife, several who died at birth. He was a trustee
in the Methodist Church at Hewett.
