Historical Notes:
(1) Franis Farley with his family and others moved westward to Bedford County,
and the Blue Ridge Mountains, and then on to Greenbrier and Monroe Counties,
where they settled. He died on October 22nd, 1791, and was buried one mile
below the mouth of Indian Creek in Summers County, West Virginia.
