(1) Robert Barker was a yeoman and was made Lieutenant 4 Oct 1675. In 1681 he
owned a saw mill which ran by water power in the brook by the family home. In
1684 he owned a farm in Pudding Brook where he built a dam there in 1693. He
was Constable in 1685, and surveyor in 1687, he also owned land in Rhode
Island.
