Necessary Explanations:

(1) The claim in Burke's Extinct and Dormant Peerage that Ralph de Mortimer and
his wife Gladys verch Llewelyn had a daughter "Isolda" who married first Walter
Balem and secondly to Hugh, Lord Audley is not supported by data in "The
Complete Peerage, where in it states Hugh Audley married Isolta daughter of
Edmund de Mortimer, and that this Isolta was a mother of a son Hugh Audley who
was born in 1289.  This being the case it would appear "Isolda" or "Isolt" is a
daughter of a generation later than these listed children.  It has
also been claimed by others that this couple had sons Ralph, Edmund,
William and Geoffrey, but the sources quoted by those making the claim do not
support it, nor do any of the above sources.

Hester Ann REED

After the death of her thrid husband James Edwards, Jr. on 24 October 1899, Hester came to live with her first child, John Harmon Hiatt, Jr. and his family in Russellfille, Ohio, in one side of a brick duplex house.  Hester's family included some of her stepshildren as well as some of her and James Edwards children. At the same time John's mother in law, Lucinda Rickey Morris Burns was living in his side of the duplex.  Hester and Lucinda continued to live next to, or with, John and his family until their deaths in 1913 and 1915.  Hester and John, Lucinda and Jessie, and Carolyna are all buried in Linwood Cemetery, just east of Russellville, Brown county, Ohio.

  After Hester's marriage to James Edwards, Jr. they removed John harmon Hiatt, Jr. form the Adams County Home to live with  their family.
  After the death of her third husband James Edwards, Jr. on 24 october 1899, Hester came to live with her 1st child, John  Harmon Hiatt, Jr. and his family in Russelville, Ohio USA, in one side of a brick duplex house. Heaster's family included  some of her stepchildren as well as some of her and James Edwards children. At the same time John's mother-in-law, Lucinda  Rickey Morris Burns was living the side of the duplex. Hester and Lucinda continued to live next to, or with, John and his  family until their deaths in 1913 and 1915. Hester and John, Lucinda and Jessie, and Carolyna are all buried in Linwood  Cemetery, just east of Russelville, Brown County, Ohio USA.
