An undated newspaper clipping tells of a game in which the Chicago Cubs defeated the Terre Haute, Indiana team by a score of 10-1 and says that "Coon" Shields scored the only run for Terre Haute. During the game he had one run, one hit, three put-outs, three assists and one error.
