info.' under Clarrisa

1909 Denver City Directory listed Clara (Clarrisa) but not Albert.

June 5, 1997

1900 CO Census - found
1880 IL Soundex - not found

1900 Census states both his parents were born in Germany.

M: in Parker, CO
Got marriage license in Castle Rock

From Art Lenzini:

Art was two when Albert passed away so knew Lee Lenocker as hisgrandfather.
Albert's brother Charles Jr.  was his best man at his wedding to Clara.

10-23-1999
Received a copy of the divorce costs sheet (court charges) and was toldit was the only record they could find on their divorce.  It was datedJuly 27, 1910.

Obituary says his birthday was Nov 13, 1872, that he was the youngest sonof Charles and Josephine Herzog.  Moved to CO in 1875 settling south ofFranktown. In 1882 the family moved closer to Parker and Albert livedthere ever since.

Entombment Record:

This is the first time I've heard the name Clarissa.  It was always Clara.

June 19, 1979
Found Clara and Albert in 1900 Census
It said Clara was born in Nov. 1874 and was 25 years old in 1900.

The Crematorium paper said she was born in 1879, died in 1951 and was 71.
The birth certificate for Mom (Georgia Olive Herzog) says she was 27 whenMom was born in 1909 which would make her birth year 1882 (I believe shewas not truthful on this paper.) but unsure if she was born in 1874 or1879.  The census was recopied and I feel the crematorium would be themost likely correct so will use 1879.  She was married in 1894 (I havecopy of marriage certificate) so, if she was born in 1874 she was 20 atthe time of her marriage
                          1879        "        15
                          1882        "       12
Address at time of death was 3052 So. Cherokee, Denver
It also said at the time of the census (1900) they lived in Elizabeth, CO(Elbert County)

Sent for the complete Census - taken June 13, 1900
Only new information was that Albert's parents were born in Germany.
He was listed as a day laborer
On Clara it was unclear under "Mother of how many children" and "Numberof children living" - Could  be 2 and 1. Figures were changed- markedover.

Age Discrepancies
1900 Census         1874  (closest to the event)
1909 Adoption Papers     1882
1910 Census         1878
1951 Cemetery       1879
Death Certificate        1878
1st Child B. 1896 +20=   1876
Marriage Application     1876
Josephine's Birth Cert.  1878 Also states Clara was born in KS

1900 Census states both her parents were born in Ohio
Death Certificate says her parents names were Alexander Duncan andClarissa Peleg.  So the name Urquhart is a middle name?  Her marriagelicense says her name was Clara Urquhart.  ?  Also her daughter, Anna'sSocial Security Record says her mother's full maiden name was ClarissaUrquhart.

From Art Lenzini:
She was 5' 5", stern, gracious, domineering.
Clara and Albert were not Catholic
Clara's age in the big picture - mid 50's

October 23, 1999
During the Lenzini's visit, I was told that Clara had mentioned a cousinby the surname Armstrong who lived in Hoxie, KS and was from Scotland.(IA)?

From Denver City Directory she was listed living alone in 1916.  Firstentry with Leon Lee was in 1926 so I will estimate their marriage (fornow) at 1920
