Tombstone found in Pine Creek Brethern Cem., Dixon, Ill.
   The family bible gives the birth date as the 5th of March, 1842.


Catherine Davis TEETER

Found in Bible records.  Died about or after 1880.
    Catherine (Teeter) Lampin resided near Polo, IL, in 1880. CGT/


John Burger TEETER

Found in bible records.  John Davis (?) Teeter was teaching school in Titusville, FL, circa 1897. CGT/


Jacob Davis TEETER

The Dixon Liberty Newspaper gives Jacob D. Teeter married to Eliza Bovey on 27 Jan 1881.  Birth given in family bible.

Jacob was a carpenter.  This is the family which may have been confused
with David David Teeter, brother, who was supposed to have died young yet had
children assigned in a bible record.
    Jacob Jr Teeter lived to be ninety-five yrs plus according to a son, Clarence B Teeter of Chicago. Also, Jacob lived in the area of Polo, IL.

David Davis TEETER

   Died as an infant.  This is obviously not true, as he had children.  In
the bible records of this family, there is also a David D. Teeter who was born ?5 Apr 1822?  Perhaps have the David Davis Teeter mixed up?

Catherine WHETSTONE

   I had her buried and died in Polo, Ogle Co., Ill. but we found her stone in the Pine Creek Brethern Cem. with the rest of the families. Died May 20, 1876, Aged 76 years. Wife of Jacob Teeter.  The same stone has the name of her mother on top, Mary, wife of Daniel Whetstone, died Sep. 1854, aged 54.
