Mary Jane was born 16 Dec. 1829. Mary Jane is buried in Belleville, Republic, Kansas on 2 Feb. 1909, next to her husband, Nelson, in an unmarked grave. She was 84 years of age. It was stated on her death record that her father was Nelson Martin. This was an error.She was a housewife. Nelson and Mary Jane were buried in a cemetery at Belleville, Republic, Kansas. Don Lucier and his mother, Sarah searched for the graves, but couldn't find them. They did manage to find some newspaper clippings regarding the deaths.
Mary Jane gave birth to Albert when she was 38 years of age. ( Albert thought it was after she was 40.) His brother Sherman was a year older than Albert.
She and Nelson were Married and Sealed in the Boise Temple 15 Nov., 1984. #37516
