I read your letter and was glad to hear from you but I think you might of wrote sooner.
We are having one swelt4ering HOT weather here was 104 this morning and has been that for several days, you thought it was hot when you was here but it doesn't compare with now.
So they expect to have a RR there by Christmas do they? That will be great just think the next time I see Hoskins it will be quit a swell place, IO suppose.
I want to come back to Oreg. this winter adn stay with Sam but dady doesn't want me to. He says he will bring me back next summer sure. And that if I want to stay in Oreg. then he won't object and that if Sam don't want me he will find some place for me to stay. I have been trying to get him to let me come out there to Aunt Net but he won't he says I wouldn't go to school if I was there. he says I can stay out there awhile next summer but I think it will be most of the summer. If I stay here this winter I will leave next spring as soon as school is out or before. I have written Sam but have not hear from him. ?Cora talks like he has gone to NY has he?
Earnest wrote me siin after U was away from home and gave me the very "old dickens".
I suppose Dells back is better by now isn't it? Is he staying with Aunt Net?
I suppose Mable and Ed will be good sized youngsters before I see them also aunt Tillies and Maudies.A card sent to Israel Eddy, Hoskins Benton Co., Oregon postmarked from Portland, Oregon Nov 19 5:30 PM, 1915

We are married and very happy having a good time. Am sending the cigars for the boys. Tell them I am very sorry for cheating them out of what fun they expected to have and I will never do it again if they will forgive this time. Charles and Myrtle
As for liking this place I like it pretty well but I get so provoked at times I don't know what to do. I just feel as if I wanted to run away to someplace & never come back.
So you werde sea sick were you? I suppose you keep the fish from getting hungry. I will have the chance to feed them again as I am coming back on the steamer but I don't intend to do anything thing like that. O My I can hardly wait until next summer comes. I suppose every body up there is well and that you to are enjoying some fine hot weather. Well mustg close & go get dinner.
Now don't work to hard. With love your sister
Myrtle
