Of Talvot Co., Maryland
Rachel was born in 1832, died in 1915 in Washington Co., Kansas and buried in the Church of the Brethern Cem., Washington, Washington Co., Kansas. They were married in 1880, she had 10 children by previous marriage, 7 were living in 1900. (Time of William's death) Note by Betty Holmes. Apparently married after the 1880 census taken as she is not listed with William and his son Charles, the 1890 census destroyed by fire.
Her parents father born in Penn., mother in Ohio. Rachel was buried in the Church of the Brethern Cemetery near Washington, Kansas.
