One source hints that Nancy was twice-married (first to a Mr. Taylor) but this an allegation rather than a proven fact. Joshua's father, George Bethel, died in Hampshire Co., Va. on 5 May 1810 and was buried in the Quaker Cemetery near Dillon Run, in unmarked grave. It is believed that the Bethel family came from Loudoun County, Va.References:

Historical Records of Old Frederick County, Va. According to a Hampshire County Va. circuit court document, George and Mariah (Kidwell) Bethel II had these children: John, Joshua, Jane, Ellen, George, james, and Nancy Bethel. Joshua Bethel was mentioned in the document believed to have been guardian for his brother's children.

S/o John and Catherine (Sydner/Sidener) Wolford. After Elizabeth's death
he remarried to Margaret Rhinehart. D/o Abraham and Rachel (Ward) Rhinehart.
Apparently Elizabeth died relatively young during the early 1820's. They
had 3 proven children.
There were known brothers and sisters of Henry; Isabella born 10 April
1805 married William Bennett. 2) Jacob born 6 Mar 1800, who married Catherine
Grapes. 3) Martin died 17 May 1872 in Hampshire Co., W. Va. and married Mary
Crim.
Henry's father John was born Aug 11, 1763 in Washington Co., Md. and died in mid-Nov 1849, near Augusta, Hampshire Co. He was buried on one of his Hampshire County farms, now located on the property of Stanley Haines, adjoning an apple orchard owned by Kenneth Grapes, at Hoy.
He was a soldier in the Rev. War. According to a family bible his wife
was Catherine Sidner, born 8 Feb 1764.References:

Stuart/Stewart, John, died in Frederick County, Virginia circa 1750. His
eldest son, James, was left an orphan, in care of James Caudy and Jeremiah
Smith, who procured land for him on the Cacapon. Source: notes in file of

Creek, issued in April 1751.
There was a Anne Stewart married to Debourney Whitacre, married on 12
April 1812. Debourney was born 16 April 1883. From family bible in possession of Cletus Whitacre, Parks Valley, Hampshire Co. The Bible record was copied by Dan Oates of Romney, W. Va. and given to Dr. Kerns. See page 319. Possible grandchild of John Stewart.

Stewart, John, was born on Jan 1, 1812, and departed this life A.D. 1862.
