Sanford Moss MAY

Lived in Kearney, Omaha, and California.  Entered the service at Omaha, Nebr.
April 19,1918 and was trained at Jefferson Barracks and Fort Sam Houston, for
duty with Machine Shop Truck Unit 400, 4th Division.  Saw service on Verdun
front in France. Discharged March 24,1919


Hattie Mae MCCAIN

Apparently died during the flu epedemic of 1918


Luella MAY

Died in Omaha Nebr apparently during the flu epedemic


Milton C MAY

Baptized in Kearney Lake 7 Apr 1896.  (Ed White's History Pub. in 1915)-
Milton C May a leading farmer and stock raiser of the township of Lincoln in
which he resides.  Milton C May was born in Madison Co. Indiana in 1872 and is
the son of William and Lozetta Hiatt May.  His father was born in 1846 in
Rockingham Co., Va, and his mothers birth occurred in 1850 in Madison
Co.,Indiana.  Milton May was one of six childred born to his parents and was 15
years of age when his parents left Indiana for Nebraska.  He remained with his
parents, helping his father with the work on the farm untill 1898, when he
began farming in Shelby Co, Iowa, in Lincoln Township.  His father had
previously purchased land in this township, although he had never lived upon
it.  Milton May has added to his land holdings until he now has 105 acres of
excellent farming land in this county.  He has a fine grove of fruit trees.
Milton May was married in 1900 to Lettie Obrecht, who was born in Shelby Co,
Iowa in 1866, and to this union have been born five children, Richard, Edna,
George, Lucy and Morris.  Richard assisted his Dad in farming.


Lettie C OBRECHT

Lettie Catherine Obrecht was named after Martin's mother, Catherine Muller
Obrecht.  She was a Christmas Eve baby in 1866 and the family was still living
in the small, rough cabin where Mary came as a bride. Had some elementary
education.


Benjamin Franklin RUCH

Died during the flu epidemic


Calvin Clyde RUCH

Kicked by a horse and developed pneumonia and died


Alfred Boise MAY

Apparently Alfred and Margaret had one child which died shortly after birth.

Worked for Standard Oil in Saudia Arabia for many years.  Retired to Meza Az.
