OBITUARY

                           Wed. 9 Feb. 1994

KNIGHTSTOWN - Edward L. Hiner, 64, of Knightstown died Tuesday.
   A Henry Co. native, Mr. Hiner had resided in Knightstown most of his life.
He was a US ARMY veteran and owner of White Flash Auto Parts in Knightstown.
He was a member of the M O A of BMW, Hoosier Beamers, Snow Roamers of Hancock
Co., IN Snowmobilers Ass. and the American Legion of Knightstown.
   Born 31 Jan 1930, he was the son of Chase and Ruth Cobalt Hiner.
   Survivors include his wife, the former Marilyn C. Coffin, whom he married
29 Feb. 1964; two sons, Michael A. Hiner of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and Steven
Bearhope (stepson) of Spiceland; two daughters, Roxanne Lane of Knightstown and
Stephanie Homer of Toledo, OH.; five grandchildren; and a brother, William of
Chalfont, PA.
   Services are 10 AM Friday at Todd Funeral Home, Butcher Chapel in
Knightstown with the Reverands Mervin Kilmer and Malcolm Cheek officiating.
Burial will be in the Glen Cove Cem. at Knightstown.  Friends may call 4 to 8
PM Thursday.          Feb. 8, 1994.
