Hi Larry Here is some military info on my family. Albert was in the Army and served a year in the Korean War in 1951. after he returned, he would have dreams and talk in his sleep saying things like "get in that fox hole" or "Don't move, I've a got a gun at your head.." He got Malaria and spent about three or four months in a hospital in Japan. Lavona: Byron was in the National Guard and spent one year in Iraq,in 2004 or 2005. David was in the Air Force and spent one year in Iraq but I don't remember what year. It was 2003 or 2004. Gaynel: Ron was in the Air Force during the Panama Crisis and worked in a military hospital were he cared for the wounded doing x-rays. Rodney was active duty in the Air Force during the Persian Gulf war and was prepared to care for the injured. He is now i The AF Reserves as a Captain Flight Nurse and does fly missions to pick up wounded solders. To my knowledge, none of Mom's siblings' family were in the service. Hope things are going well for you and your family. We are enjoying spring like weather, but with that brings colds and the flu. Let me know is you get this as my e-mails seem to take a while to send.
