James Harlan: James Harlan was born about 1625, near Durham, England, where he died.
George Harlan & Elizabeth (Duck) Harlan: George Harlan, son of James
Harlan, was babtized 1/1/1650, in England. He went ot Ireland when he was
grown and on 9/17/1678, at Lurgan Meeting, Ireland, he married Eliabeth Duck.
He came to America in 1687 with nine children, one child being Moses. He
first belonged to Newark Meeting, Penn. After moving to Brandywine and
westward, they established Center MM. George had been one of the provincial
Govenors, and in 1712, he was a member of hte Colonial Assembly. The Colonial Dame Membership is given. First, death occured for Elizabeth, and George died, May, 1714.
Margaret Beeson was his second wife. Moved to Wayne Co., IN, Springfield MM, 21 JAN 1832.
