   Oscar Hiatt, who was injured while attempting to board a freight train in
Kansas City recently, is in a critical condition.  His head is badly cut and
several ribs broken.  When the accident happened, he was standing on the rear
platform of the caboose when another freight train backed into him.  He was
knocked unconscious and remained there several hours before discovered.  When
found, he was removed to the St. Joseph Hospital.  Eugene Stiles, his
brother-in-law went down after him Sat. and brought him home.  Hopes are
entertained for his speedy recovery.
