Moved to McCracken, Ness Co., Kansas in 1902 with his parents. In 1917 he volunteered for Military Service in WW I, serving in England. Was living in 1971 3313 Smalley, Kansas City, Missouri.
His memorial services were held at the Lansford Chapel and officiated over by brother Charles H. Turner.
Arthur joined the Army in 1917/1918. In a letter of April 8, 1918, he tells of sending a Cameo Broach and an Army Pin to Mayme and Annis. He was in:841 Areo Repair Sqd.

On Januaray 18, 1928, in Kansas City, Missouri, he married Ruby Hemenway, born September 30, 1891 in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Anna Maude (McComb) Hemenway.

Verill and Nellie were married in the Bales Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He removed to Sugar City, Colorado in 1915, back to Missouri in 1919.
Verill worked for Sears and Roebuck & Co., and Brandis Corp.
