Notes for BRICE WORTHINGTON: Brice a bachelor inherited "White Hall" upon the Patuxent, adjoining "Montpelier". This house has a history of 2 or more centuries and it still stands. It is a rough-cast brick. Five geneartions of Worthingtons are buried in its hill cemetery. The rent rolls indicate that it satnds upon a part pf "Wincopin Neck". This was a joint survey by Benjamin & Richard Warfield. It was the same "White Hall that Major Richard Lawrence was seated with his wife Ann Warfield. It finally passed to Dr Worthington and his son Brice. From there it was passed to his nephew Dr William Henry Worthington, a student at the nearby medical school.

iv. DR THOMAS C WORTHINGTON, b. Anne Arundel Co Maryland; m. MARIA MCCOY DORSEY, July 14, 1841, Anne Arundel Co Maryland.

Notes for DR THOMAS C WORTHINGTON: Dr Worthington's property ajoined his fathers property to the north.  His patriarchal beard, handsome form and courtly manners are well remembered and give us a picture of the founders. His home, according to Warfield is owned by Joshua Warfield Baxley.
