Hiett, Jeremiah, son of Jonathan and Hannah (Harrison) Hiett, was born on Nov. 8, 1829 and died on Oct. 9, 1893. His wife, Emily S. Burkett, was born on Sept. 18, 1830 and died on Feb. 21, 1896. The graveyard where they were buried was called "the Jerry Hiettg graveyard," by Maud Pugh, local historian.
