Jesse & his brother Frank & their sister Ellen came to America (U.S.) first
in 1868. This is recorded in Crossing the Ocean, FHL F-----,
Then sometime later after 1870, James & Mary came with rest of children. I
know family records & histories dont give it this way but old shipping records do.The family of James & Mary Cleverley were listed on FHL F# 025686 Persons indebted to the Perpetual Emigrating fund Co from 1850 to 1877. Indexed on pg 3, Entered on pg 294. Jesse, Frank & their oldest sister Ellen came to America together in 1868, the same year that Jesse was baptized.
