Larry Anderson - Families and Individuals

Notes

Elizabeth FLOYD

Dau. of John & Ann Floyd.

Lydia WORLEY

Daughter of Henry Worley and Rachel.  Lydia was an Elder for 13 years.

August RAUSCH

Very, very, briefly, August and William Henry Rausch are two of the younger of nine (known) children of Conrad Rausch and Carolina Beck Rausch.  The other children included Frederick, Albertina, Emma, John, Caroline, Henry William, and Arthur.  The older children were born in Wisconsin, the younger in Missouri.  Both Conrad and Caroline were born in Helpershain, Germany.  I do not have the time to type the many pages of data we have into the computer, but would be happy to photocopy it for you and send it by mail.

We were hoping that you might be able to provide a bit of information on August's family.  We know of nothing beyond his marriage.  My husband's great grandfather, William Henry, lost his first wife to TB when they were young, and their toddler son (Albert) was raised by his maternal grandparents (Julia and James Newton Carver, of Springfield, Mo).  The next generations lost track of the extended Rausch family.  If any of this branch of the family would welcome contact with distant cousins, please let us know.  Also, if you have any family photos of this family, we would be happy to pay for duplication.

                                       Best,

                                       Elizabeth (and Randall Rausch)

Notes by Jeremiah Mills Jr.  Rachel and Stephen moved to Old Blue River,
